In the US Army’s article “Combat Veteran Rushes to Provide First Aid to Shooting Victims,” Chago Zapata speaks about US veteran Maj. Karl D. Buckingham, who had the opportunity and courage to provide hemorrhage control using the Israeli Bandage® on a gunshot victim.

Buckingham, a Command and General Staff Officer Course student, was no stranger to providing life-saving bleeding control during his five deployments.
